upgrade their existing 50mA X-ray machines to DR digital imaging systems

Recently, we have received inquiries from customers who want to upgrade their existing 50mA X-ray machines to DR digital imaging systems.

They are currently using a 50mA power frequency X-ray machine equipped with a traditional chemical film developed simulation imaging system. However, in practical applications, especially when taking radiographs of patients’ lumbar spine, they found that the quality of the captured images was not ideal and the clarity was lacking.

After learning that digital imaging systems can provide better image results than analog imaging systems, the customer asked us if we could solve this problem by upgrading their 50mA X-ray machine to achieve clear photography of the lumbar spine.

We explain to customers in detail that although digital imaging systems can indeed adjust color contrast through software to highlight areas that require careful observation, thereby improving image clarity. But considering that the 50mA power frequency X-ray machine they currently use has a small dose, in the past they usually obtained satisfactory images by extending the exposure time and multiple exposures. However, in practical applications, especially when photographing the lumbar spine, the image clarity may be affected by the movement of internal organs. In addition, since the 50mA ray intensity is not enough to completely penetrate the lumbar spine, especially in obese patients, the images of the lumbar spine may not be as clear as those of the limbs.

If you also want to upgrade your X-ray machine to a DR digital imaging system, we are very willing to provide you with professional help and product upgrades.
