Common Faults of Mobile X-ray Machine

1. Power Supply Faults

  • Low input mains voltage, poor socket contact, overload tripping of power strip.
  • Power loss and aging of vehicle-mounted or built-in battery; the battery cannot drive high voltage and causes immediate shutdown.
  • Emergency stop button locked after being pressed, leading to complete power-off and machine locking.
  • Loose, broken or virtual connection of power cords and aviation plugs.

2. Safety Interlock Protection Faults

  • Triggering of rack limit switches and pitching/lifting travel switches, resulting in automatic power-off protection.
  • For some models, the cabinet door interlock is equipped; exposure is prohibited and the machine shuts down if the door is not closed tightly.
  • Shutdown triggered by tilting protection and anti-collision induction of the machine.

3. High Voltage & X-ray Tube Overheating Faults

  • Excessive continuous shooting times cause X-ray tube overheating protection and forced shutdown for cooling.
  • Slight leakage of high-voltage modules and high-voltage cables leads to tripping of the machine’s leakage protection.
  • Aging of X-ray tube filament or failure of high-voltage inverter board causes no high-voltage output and failure to work normally.

4. Control & Operation Component Faults

  • Short circuit or disconnection of foot switch causes abnormal machine detection and system locking.
  • Malfunction of operation panel keys and main board crash lead to program stuck and stop working.
  • Fuse blown of internal circuit and power supply board.

5. Overall System Faults

  • Industrial control tablet or host system crash and software error, exiting the working mode automatically.
  • Internal cooling fan stop running causes high internal temperature and triggers overload protection.
